NMAs 2025 Line Up Announcement

After the inaugural event last year, the Nordoff and Robbins Northern Music Awards are back for 2025

The event concept was produced for Nordoff and Robbins by Laura Graham, and this years show at historial 2000 capacity Liverpool Olympia, boasts an incredible lineup of live acts ready to celebrate all manner of Northern music on the night.

As if we Northerners needed any more excuses to celebrate and revel in our achievements, the NMAs is dedicated to celebrating our music, as we all know it’s the best in the country. albeit the earth.

The inauguralshow at Albert Hall in 2024 saw stripped-back set by performances by English Teacher, Liam Fray, The Ks and a standing ovation for the first-ever ‘Northern Icon’, Lisa Stansfield.

The NMAs part two at the Liverpool Olympia is not to be missed, headlined by Stockport’s superstars Blossoms, who have been touring up and down the country with their latest album: Gary.

Also performing live are indie rockers, The Zutons, who are ready to raise the roof and celebrate Northern music in style, alongside Chiedu Oraka, a talented upcoming rapper from Hull, who is also shortlisted for the Newcomer of the Year Award.

Also nominated for Best Newcomer are The KTNA who played at StreamGM’s Welcome To The Yard in 2023 and Oldham’s very own Seb Lowe who was booked by Laura to feature on the indie music series she produces, Spill The Sound.

Rising artist and Liverpudlian act Luvcat is also shortlisted for Breakthrough Artst of the Year, and will be taking to the stage, bringing her unique brand of jazz-influenced romantic rock to her home crowd.

There are 16 awards in total with two new trophies this year: ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Industry Rising Star’.
