K-Klass on Manchester:Unplugged
House music pioneers K-Klass stepped into the Manchester: Unplugged spotlight to revisit one of the city’s most iconic dance records, Rhythm Is A Mystery.
The episode forms part of the cinematic documentary series created and produced by Laura Graham, which explores the stories behind songs born in Manchester. Each film pairs an intimate live performance with a candid conversation about the inspiration, challenges and creative moments that shape a track.
In the K-Klass episode, the band reflect on the origins of Rhythm Is A Mystery and the era that defined Manchester’s club culture, offering a rare insight into the creative journey behind a record that went on to become a dancefloor classic.
The film has proven to be one of the most popular episodes in the series so far, attracting over 13,000 views on YouTube, with tens of thousands more viewers discovering the film through clips shared across social media.
K-Klass themselves have been incredibly supportive of the project, regularly sharing content from the episode with their own audiences and helping introduce the series to dance music fans across the UK and beyond.
